Enter dsmc to start a command-line session. If you run only one ADSM command, use batch mode and precede the ADSM command with dsmc. For example, to request an incremental backup in batch mode, you would enter:
dsmc incremental
If you enter several ADSM commands, use interactive mode. Enter the loop command to reach interactive mode:
dsmc loop
Then, you can enter each ADSM command after the dsmc> prompt.
